gdnsd-dbg software package provides authoritative domain name server (debugging symbols), you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gdnsd-dbg
gdnsd-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gdnsd-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gdnsd-dbg *
You will get with gdnsd-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
